Awarded the Gazelle prize five times in a row, Oniryx proves that it’s possible to deliver high-quality IT services by combining an original and unique organizational model.
Founded in 2008, Oniryx has already been featured in the Gazelle rankings seven times, including five consecutive wins since 2021, demonstrating that it’s possible to achieve strong economic performance while maintaining a human touch. “We take a disruptive approach to our business, both in terms of our IT service offerings and our organizational model,” explains Geoffroy Fauveaux, a board member. “The results we’ve achieved in recent years prove that you can be both successful and sustainable by thinking differently.”
This way of thinking is concretely illustrated by a self-governance and collective intelligence model that empowers employees, values on-the-ground experience, shares information among all employees, and ultimately fosters shared decision-making power. Furthermore, Oniryx is part of a group whose shareholders are two public utility foundations, thus clearly indicating that finance is a means and not an end.
A Deep Understanding of Clients
This philosophy also permeates Oniryx’s clients, who are primarily in the public sector. “Our vision is reflected not only in our results but also in the projects we develop for our clients,” explains Christophe Patris, Delivery Manager and Head of Sales. “In other words, we share the benefits of our results and our model with them. The more space we have to leverage collective intelligence, the more easily and effectively we can support our clients through change and allocate the right skills to the right places. For example, integrating AI into an organization while valuing human skills is a natural fit for us.”
By focusing on its clients’ needs, as well as organizational and, more broadly, human aspects, Oniryx deepens its understanding of its industry and its specific characteristics. It can then not only offer a range of services including integration, development, and consulting, but also forge open and transparent collaborations with its partners. An example is the Hippodrome de Wallonie, for which Oniryx optimized data management, staff efficiency, and user experience through two new internet portals. According to CEO Achille Cassart, “Oniryx successfully met the IT challenges in 9 months where others had failed for 7 years.”
